RIGS Geology Action

In 2001 Lothian and Borders RIGS joined in partnership with Girlguiding East Lothian to introduce a geology theme to their programme. Over the next few years, four colourful leaflets were produced, exploring the geology of Barn's Ness, North Berwick, Belhaven Bay and Traprain Law.

Geology Action was organised by Alexandra Robb of Girlguiding East Lothian, and funding and other support has come from Scottish Natural Heritage, the Curry Fund of the Geologists Association, UKRIGS, Jane Robb's Mineral Museum and Science Year.
